About Us
Dr. Steven J. Brazis, DDS
Dr. Steven J. Brazis attended dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated in 1973. He has been practicing general dentistry for 34 years. He bought this practice in 1995 and has had a very successful and fulfilling 12 years with mostly the same staff.
Dr. Brazis is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. He is a past member of the San Francisco Dental Society where he also served a term on the Curriculum committee, responsible for the continuing education programs for the society.
Dr. Brazis practices all phases of general dentistry and has had extensive experience in some aspects of oral surgery, but enjoys most the sense of fulfillment of helping someone achieve their best smile employing the latest technology available to the dental field.
He is married with five grown children and one grandson. His interests are mostly outdoor sports. He loves backpacking and getting up into the high country of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He has climbed almost all of the peaks in the Sierra Nevada range between Mt. Whitney and Yosemite at one time. He is an amateur photographer and computer nerd.

I am an RDA (registered Dental Assistant). I have been with the practice since 1980. I enjoy my job very much, especially the friendships I have established with patients and their families. I try to make people feel comfortable when they come in and help them get any questions they have answered by the doctor. My goal is to give our patients the best service possible.
Ellen
I have been a registered dental hygienist for 22years, 17 of those with this practice. I have enjoyed being a part of our patients’ dental health care. I also enjoy catching up with my patients’ lives when they come in and talk about their experiences. We have become mostly very close friends. I have watched their children grow up into young adults, some with children of their own now a part of our practice.
Jessica
I have been in the dental field since 2003. I take being a receptionist very seriously as it is the first impression that our patients receive of our office. I enjoy my job as I get to build the relationships first and set the foundation for a great patient relationship. Our patients are important to me. I want to make sure that when they complete their treatments they understand their insurance better than before they started. I love the interaction that I get with our patients.

I have worked in the dental profession for 38 years. 26 of these have been as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been working with Dr. Brazis in his office for seven years. I enjoy assisting patients learning to have comfortable healthy gums and a bright smile. Over the years I enjoy getting to know them on a personal level and look forward to catching up with their lives each time they come in.
